mass confusion on points

I just read the last thread and I'm losing my mind. we just bought early june sold back feb 2002 points .do I have points from this feb so confused please help.

Read your paperwork carefully, if you did indeed sale back (and pay dues) on 2002 points, than yes you have 2003 points that you received 3 months ago (prior to your ownership).

There should be a magical begins sheet that is on it's own that will tell you exactly what you did.

I'm not entirely sure I understand your post, though. What is your use year? I'm assuming that you bought directly from Disney and purchased BCV.

It sounds like you purchased your membership in June, 2003. If so and if your use year is truly February, then you could not have sold back 2002 use year points. You would have sold back 2003 use year points and your next allotment would be added to your account on February 1, 2004.


2002 use year points (for a February use year) would have expired on 1/31/2003. That is before you purchased (if you purchased in June of this year).

2003 February use year points are good for stays between 2/1/2003 and 1/31/2004. These are the points that would have been sold back for Magical Beginnings if your use year is February and you bought in June of 2003.

2004 February use year points are good for stays between 2/1/2004 and 1/31/2005. You could borrow these points if you wanted to stay before 2/1/2004. If you do that, the points would be good for stays between 2/1/2003 and 1/31/2004. Once you borrow them, though, they expire on 1/31/2004 if you don't use them before then.

I agree with CarolMN. I think there is some confusion as to what you own but it can be straightened out easily enough. I agree with her guess that if you bought this year that you "sold back" your February 2003-January 2004 allotment. You will be getting a new allotment in February 2004. A call to MS on Monday could get you the definitive answer.

If you want to take a trip prior to 2/2004, you can borrow points from 2004.

thanks for the help Ifound the document and it said 2003 I swear the guide said 2002 but I must have been mistaken
