Monday morning we met Renee at Epcot and visited just a little while. We headed over to Magic Kingdom to see Prince Charming. We were all excited to get to see him especially since we missed him last month when we were there. We called him once we were there and left him a message. Our plan was to watch his castle show. We got there in time to get up front so the girls could see him. As we were walking up Dale stopped to see the girls. He spent lots of time with them even though it was time for him to go in. The CM in front of the castle, who I hate that I did not get his name, asked were we going to watch the show. We told him yes we were wanting to see Prince Charming. He told us to stay right there and right before the show started he would bring us up on the ramp with him so the girls could see really good. He said if he got bumped to the other side he would make sure the CM that was on that side knew to bring us up there. He came back and told us that he told Prince Charming we were here and Charming said he would be calling us soon. Well we missed his call and the CM got bumped to the other side. The other CM never acknowledged us and didnt take us up the ramp. By this time the show was packed and the girls could not see over everyone. I took some pictures so I could show the girls later then we headed to the back of the castle to meet Prince Charming for pictures. Michala fell asleep so she is sleeping in the pictures. Our prince told us he would see us at the parade and to please meet him behind the castle at 5:00.
After hugs and kisses we decided to go have lunch. We had ressies for Liberty Tree Tavern for 8:40 but we didnt think the girls would make it until then so we decided to have lunch there. Lunch of course was wonderful as always. We celebrated Marlee Annes birthday. She got a cupcake and birthday card that was signed by characters. Our waiter Mark was great! Mike cancelled our ressies for that night.
We headed down to Frontierland to change the girls diapers. I took them in one by one to change them. When I took Mary Elizabeth in this very nice lady walked up and started talking to Mary Elizabeth. She asked me her name and continued talking to her. She said a few things to me but her conversation was mostly with Mary Elizabeth. Mary Elizabeth smiled, laughed and shared in her own way with this lady. I didn't understand the connection and I didn't want to interrupt and ask. I just stood to the side and watch them. When she was finished talking to Mary Elizabeth she told me how beautiful Mary Elizabeth is. This was after she had told Mary Elizabeth that several times. She told me that she has two friends that have special needs daughters. I told her I wondered how she talk with Mary Elizabeth so easily. Some how we started talking about where we were from. Come to find out she had just gotten back from a mission trip with some people from Marietta which is only about 45 minutes from us. She helped me with Mary Elizabeth. As we were leaving Mary Elizabeth began singing. Karen said oh how lovely. She was just very sweet. As she was telling us bye she said I will see you again someday in Heaven. She had such a beautiful spirit. She walked out with us and went over to meet the other girls and Mike. She lives near Boston and we told her about Michala having surgery at Boston Children's Hospital.
We went to Fantasyland to ride some rides. Its A Small World, which I love and Mike is a little tired of was our first stop. The girls love the ride so its not to hard for Mike to sacrifice. Marlee Anne was signing and saying more at the end of the ride. Next we rode Peter Pan. This is quite a challenge since both the girls have to transfer out of their wheelchairs. Mike holds Mary Elizabeth and I hold Michala and help Marlee Anne in. We all love this ride so its worth taking the challenge. We watched Mickeys Philharmagic next. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful every time!!! I dont think I will ever get tired of it. Snow Whites Scary Adventure is being refurbished so we didnt get to ride it. We were going over to see Ariel and Marlee Anne spotted Dumbo. She said Anne. So she, Michala and I rode it together. We all laughed so hard on it. Mike and Mary Elizabeth decided to sit that one out.
We headed for Toon Town next to see some more characters. We saw Cinderella first. Since it was Marlee Annes birthday trip and she has been singing the rella song she made up we decided we would see her first. There was no one else in the room except us, Cinderella, Perla and Suzy. They were all wonderful with the girls!!! Next we went to see Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh. They were great too!!! Lots of wonderful pictures, fun and laughs. Next it was over to see Minnie, Chip and Dale. We saw Chip first, then Dale. We were waiting to see Minnie and Marlee Anne was trying to stand on her head. Dale came over to get her. It was so much fun to see them playing in the floor together. When we were about to walk up to Minnie she came running up to Michala and pushed her wheelchair over to where she was going to do pictures. I started pushing Mary Elizabeth over there and Minnie held her hand up to tell me no. She came and got Mary Elizabeth. The whole time Marlee Anne is trying to see get her attention. Minnie wasnt rude but she was determined to see Mary Elizabeth and Michala first. Once she got the girls and their wheelchairs in place she scooped Marlee Anne up for a picture. She realized that Michala had her leg stretched out and was blocking her and Marlee Anne. She held her hand up to tell the photographer and I to wait. She switched Mary Elizabeth and Michalas positions. Once she was pleased with how everyone was she told us to take pictures. We got some wonderful ones! I asked if I could get a picture of she and the birthday girl. She wanted to know how old she was. I told her two. Minnie held up two fingers for the picture. The picture I took Marlee Anne had her eyes closed but the photographer got a wonderful one so we had to buy that one. After pictures and signing autographs she spent lots of time just loving and visiting with the girls. By this time I am crying. I hugged Minnie and told her thank you for this magical moment. She pulled me over to the side and got some paper to write me a note. I am still crying, probably actually sobbing at this point. When she finishes writing me a note she turns and takes her skirt to wipe my eyes. Then she starts fixing my hair and turns for us to have a picture made together. Mike even took a picture of Minnie fixing my hair. I am going to train him yet. LOL!!! The CM took us over to see Mickey next. The CM was very nice and very concerned about me. I was a mess by now. Mickey was wonderful and also came and pushed the girls over by him. Once he got them situated the way he wanted he motioned for us to take pictures. He was great!
As we exited through the shop we looked at all the new Potato Head stuff and had to buy some new parts. It was time for us to head for the castle. As we were walking that way someone hollered hey Kelli. We looked over and it was Karen that we had met earlier. She was with her husband then so we got to meet him and visit with them a little while. We passed the Indy cars again and Marlee Anne asked to ride them. We told her in a little while. We got to the castle a little early so we sat down and just people watched. There were lots of people that came in to take pictures. Lots of couples that were going to take pictures of each other but we offered to take pictures of them together. This was such a fun time. I wish I could have that job of going around taking pictures of people.
In a little while a CM came out to get us. He asked were we ready. Usually Prince Charming comes to get us. I started to push Mary Elizabeth through the huge door of the castle. As we enter the castle and turn the corner my breath is once again taken away. There are tons and I mean tons of Disney friends back there. Prince Charming out did himself. I have to stop here and tell you that Prince Charming is one of the most amazing, loving and generous people we have ever met. He is charming in every sense of the word. The fact that he is beautiful inside and out doesnt hurt any either. Belle comes up to tell the girls she remembered them from the last visit she had with them and she saw them at the parade. Mike said look at Marlee Anne she is like a deer in headlights. I thought to myself she and I both. I almost froze. I was so nervous and excited I almost couldnt work the camera. Mulan remembered us and Marlee Anne went right to her. Until she saw Minnie. Then she practically jumped to Minnie. She was so excited! She was going to have a lady bug party now we are thinking we should change it to a Minnie Mouse party. Lets see who all was there. Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip & Dale, Prince Charming, Cinderella, Snow White, Snow Prince, Beauty and The Beast, Mulan Fairy Godmother, and The Queen. I dont think I am leaving anyone out. Prince asked if we would like a picture of everyone together. As I started to take the picture I realized I couldnt see Beauty and The Beast. Minnie was in front of them holding Marlee Anne. I thought there is no way I can ask Minnie to squat down. So when you see the picture if you look real hard to the left you can see the top of The Beast behind Minnie and you can see part of Belles yellow dress. Belle won our hearts the very first time we ever met her. She has the most beautiful and loving spirit. Not to mention that she is breathtakingly beautiful. I really shouldnt be breathing right now after all the times my breath has been taken away on this trip. Since we didnt get to see Beauty and The Beast in the group picture we got a beautiful picture of the two of them with the girls. After the picture I asked Belles permission to have my picture with The Beast. He is something else!!! Next to Prince Charming I think he is Mary Elizabeths favorite. Snow White was very nice to spend lots of times talking with the girls. I was very touched by the kindness of Mickey. He came up to Mike to shake his hand. The Fairy Godmother thanked us for coming to visit her. She thanked us!!! Amazing!!! We had never visited with The Queen before so Mike and I were completely blown away by her presence. She was a very, gosh I cannot think of a word to describe her. When we thanked her for taking the time to see us she said my pleasure. Mary Elizabeth was very mesmerized by her presence also. She spent lots of time talking to Mary Elizabeth. She was very interested in finding out the girls name and meeting them. I wanted a picture of our Prince Charming with the girls with Michala being awake. Cinderella was holding Marlee Anne because she and Belle had been playing with her. Cinderella joined in the pictures with Charming and the girls. The pictures turned out wonderful but I still forgot to get picture of just the four of them. Another reason to have to go back. More hugs and kisses and away we went. Mike and I were blown away and couldnt even talk about what had just happened. As we walked out I looked at him and said what just happened. The more we talked about it the more tears that flowed. We called Prince Charming to thank him again. These are the times when thanks just doesnt seem like enough. No words can explain what it means to have the girls loved this way.
We went to Cosmic Rays to feed the girls. Marlee Anne was wearing her GA Bulldog bid and a couple sitting near us said are you a little Bulldog? I told them according to me she is but not according to her dad. We continued our conversation with them and they told us they are from Loganville. If you aren't from GA that's not funny. For you GA folks you can imagine how we all laughed. Loganville is about 30 minutes from us. They were an incredible family. As they were leaving they walked over and asked if it was OK if they asked about the girls. We told them sure and enjoyed sharing with them. She said may I ask you one more question. I said sure. She said are ya'll Christians. I was totally blown away! We told her yes and thanked her for being bold enough to ask us that.
Afterwards we headed to the Indy cars. Mike, Michala and Marlee Anne had a wonderful time riding together. Then we went to ride Mary Elizabeths favorite, Buzz Lightyear. We rode it twice. Mike and I wanted to eat at Columbia Harbor House because we had heard such good things about it. We had clam chowder that was delicious. They no longer put it in the bread bowl though. They stopped doing that last month. Now its in a plastic bowl. It was very good though. We also split the fish and chicken that was great. As we were heading out of the park after eating we got to see part of the Spectro Magic parade. It was getting really cool for the girls to be out so we headed out. As we were getting on the monorail to go back to Epcot, Wishes started. It was good to see part of it. Its such a wonderful fireworks show.
The girls were all asleep when we got back to the room. George was hanging from the curtain thanks to our wonderful mousekeeper. Minnie had Mickey Potato Head glasses on and was also hanging from the curtain. We took pictures and left them there for the girls to see the next morning. I couldnt sleep.
The next morning our plans were to leave fairly early. By early I thought 8 or 9. After Mike loaded the van he said I thought we would go to Downtown Disney. WOW!!! I was so excited. We love to end our trip with a walk through Downtown Disney. It was Tuesday and there were very few people there. It was a very nice walk through there. The drive home was pleasant except for Mike being on the phone with work most of the way and the hour we had to sit still in traffic because of an accident. Like our friend said I keep thinking one time you are going to come home with no magical stories. Each time is so special though thanks to some very special and wonderful friends.
