Mason Title vs DVC Title and Escrow

I’ve used both without issue, but I would guess most people would choose mason.

I’ve used both and both are equally fine…go with the company that gives you the better price…or in my case (small resale), let’s you put the most on a CC for points or cash back…which for me, was Mason.

The one that rhymes with Trashic Vacation Title would be a pass for me. But the two you mentioned are reliable options.

Mason Title for sure. You can even split your credit card onto deposit and closing as long as you let them know before closing. I always add a note in an email with my offer CYA. They have always accommodated and those extra points buy us flights!

DVC title are slightly quicker, but sometimes more expensive. You can’t go wrong with either.

I’ve used DVC Title, Mason, Magic Vacation Title, TRCS and Jeffrey Sweet. My go-to is DVC Title. They are consistently faster than the other options and Cammy/Marcelo have been great at helping navigate some of the tricky ones.

Jordan Jones at Mason Title. Used her for both of my two most recent resale purchases. I called both before my first resale purchase. DVC Title and Escrow seems very good, but they were higher and didn't allow as much to be put on a credit card. They said they'd match any competitor, but I don't like doing that because I worry you'll get worse service since they are coming down from their standard pricing to get your business.

I second Jordan Jones at Mason. Two smooth transactions, the notary service was amazing compared to the arbitrary Magic that you had to print out so many papers and mail them. Jordan was fast and efficient, received a check in the mail after we weren't expecting so that was a bonus. Will always use them.

What does it mean to split your credit card onto deposit and closing?

When I bought with Mason, which was fantastic, they allowed me to put my $7500 deposit on a credit card with no extra charge. But if I wanted to do larger than that or pay anything else with a credit card, there would have been a fee.
