masks on transportation enforced?

I know the policy but wondered if it's actually being enforced on the bus/monorail/skyliner?

The last weekend of February it was on the buses, usually there was a box of masks at the front of the bus if you didn't have one. Before you get on the monorail they were reminding people to put on mask but it was about 50/50 if people left them on.

Last weekend (March 4-6) on the monorail, some stops were handing out masks and making everyone put on a mask before they got on (such as Contemporary and GF). At other stops (Poly), no one was enforcing and castmembers stood by while people got on without wearing masks, with no issue. So it seems spotty enforcement at best. I'm not sure if you're pro-mask and concerned that others won't be wearing them, or if you're anti-mask and trying to find out if you can avoid wearing one, but I think the answer is it really depends on the CM and situation so at a minimum I'd expect to have to put on a mask sometimes on transportation. And if you're concerned about others not wearing a mask, well - people aren't all wearing masks and many took them off as soon as the monorail left the station.
For myself I really don't care. I spent 2 years worrying about covid and protections only to get covid right after returning from marathon weekend at WDW, so now I've had it, my whole family has had it as well, and we're all vaccinated and boosted so we should be fine, for a while at least.

It was routinely enforced when I was there last month. We got our own skyliner cabin and took them off in there since we were alone. But otherwise kept them on

I’d suggest having one in your pocket/bag in case because there were situations where it was enforced. However, it may not be required uniformly.

As long as it is Disney's policy, I suggest complying. You can always rent a car if you think think that is easier than putting a mask on.
