Mascara to cope with August heat/humidity

Question for the girls...
It's vain I know, but have any of you discovered a mascara that can cope with the heat and humidity (and sun cream!) in August? Not planning on wearing much make up, just mascara and a bit of lip gloss, but wanted to avoid the panda look!

Any waterproof mascara should be fine.

Honestly, It is SO hot, I wouldn't even wear it. Why bother?

Yeah - No.7 waterproof is a good one, i usually start the first few days with it then don't bother once i get into the "au-natural" mode. Also, have you tried getting your eyelashes tinted a couple days before you go. i did that one year. It's good for the colour but doesn't give much thickness if that's wot u need. Worth a try before you go to see wot you think, i don't think it's that expensive either, if i remember.

i was going to suggest eye lash tinting, i couldnt be without it on holiday. I pay £11 to have my brows and lashes done (i have blonde eye brows!) and its worth every penny. I normally just give them a curl with the eye lash curlers and off i go!

I usually wear YSL faux cils and dont have a problem with the heat. Although I have just started using body shop mascaras as very similar but cheaper.

I have never had panda eyes on holiday - the only time is when swimming

I will say though, I never wear mascara on my bottom lashes so dont have a problem - maybe that is the answer

I have my eyelashes tinted and that does me during the day. I use Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara or Lash Power Mascara Long-Wearing Formula. Both are incredibly smudge proof and can only be removed with warm water - the usual oils, removers etc don't work. I'm reliably informed by my niece (who'e a softy and bubbles for ages for no reason) that it doesn't give you panda eyes 'even if you cry all day'! It's certainly the only one I can wear that doesn't smudge and doesn't give me nippy eyes.
