Mascara Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good mascara (preferably gel-based), waterproof, with small wand?

Naturally, the Max Factor mascara I was using that fits those specifications is discontinued.

I'm not a big fan of Maybelline.

Cover girl Lash Blast is highly recommended by lots of make up artists. I love it, it's awesome! I don't recommend the waterproof, but the regular is great!

**Clearly I missed the "waterproof" request you stated. LOL I actually did get the waterproof kind of Lash Blast once, and it worked GREAT with the exception of the smell. As far as lasting power, it didn't budge in the water!

Ive had wonderful luck with this one:

Im not sure if that fits your requirements, but it makes my lashes look AMAZING. Almost like I have false lashes on. It's Maybelline Pulse Perfection.

I did read that you're not a big fan of Maybelline but I like their "Falsies" line. I threw the packaging away so I can't say if it's gel based. I'm almost positive that it's waterproof. And as for the wand, it's spoon shaped.

I have problems with being sensitive to make-up anywhere near my eyes but I don't have any problems with "Falsies".

No, not at all. Its a very slight vibration. I think it helps separate the lashes and make them look longer. It is seriously awesome!!! I highly, highly recommend it.

I don't know if I'm coordinated enough to use a vibrating wand, but it sounds interesting!

I should have said I don't like Maybelline Great Lash (in the pink tube). It just doesn't seem to last on my eyes. I tried Almay and it smudged right off. I just started my last tube of Max Factor Volume Couture, so I have a little while before I start the great hunt.

You might want to give Maybelline another shot. I love my "Lash Stiletto Voluptuous". It is in a skinny red container and it is waterproof.

I second this, I use both regular and waterproof. It is what my makeup artist used on me on my wedding day.

L'Oreal Voluminous is good, too.

Been using Lash Injection by Too Faced and like the way it looks, but not thrilled with the waterproof claims. Not really proving to be waterproof for me.
