Now Ive tried their other versions - and nothing compares. This is the BEST one.

I also agree the L'Oreal makes good mascara - I use Voluminous and I've just tried the Volume Shocking which was a little clumpy. I'm going to go back to Voluminous - I've used it over 10 years now.

Me too! I have light eyelashes, and Voluminous really makes mine look thick and my eyes 'pop' The waterproof is not hard to get off at all.

I have been pretty happy with the Maybelline XXL, once I started applying it properly. It doesn't curl though, I use a curler.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Maybelline EXTREME XXL. That was the clumpiest, nastiest, glop ever! Sure it thickens your eyelashes, cuz it makes them into one gloppy thick lash.

I had to laugh when I read this post. My husband thinkss I'm nuts b/c of my fascination with mascara. What I do is Use the Maybelline mascara in the pink and green container-everyone knows this one-that puts on nice coverage and color, Then I use Maybelline Sky High Curves-that gives great curl. I little high mainentance I know, but really effective.

I have used L'Oreal FeatherLash and Volumious for so many years. I stray and then return. Even payed the $$$$$$ for Estee, Clinique, and many others. Those have NEVER measured up to the L'Oreal.
