I am so sad.I grew up listening to PPM & the Beatles. I am glad I got to see the perform together one last time.

I went to a concert about 15 years ago. It had a very interesting audience. People ranged from 7 to 70. My Dh and I took our DD who was about 8 at the time and she absolutely loved it. She was a true talent and a devoted humanitarian. Along with a powerful voice she had class and style.

That's my favorite, too. God, I loved that lady. She was a class act, making her point against the Vietnam war without being disrespectful to the troops. I never heard a bad thing about her. My regret is that I never got to hear her sing in person. She was someone who I always felt like giving a big hug to, she exuded love. Rest in peace, Mary.

When I saw her name I didn't know who it was until I found out she was the Mary of Peter, Paul, & Mary. We had taped their show once on PBS and watched it a lot growing up. I like their song "Light One Candle".

I loved their music. I might not have recognized the last name immediately, except for the fact that someone posted the story in the John Denver group I'm in and it was pretty easy to draw the connection there ("Leaving On A Jet Plane".)

I love all of these also. They were one of my favorite groups in jr high.
