Mary Poppins?

Hi all - my two little boys LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Mary Poppins movie and I was wondering if there's anywhere at DL or DCA to find Mary Poppins? Meet and Greets? Character dining? I'll take anything...

I don't believe that she is at any of the character meals, but we have found her (and often Bert too) wandering Fantasyland.

When you first arrive at DL ask any CM if she's scheduled to be out that day....if they don't know they will call and find out for you. Sometimes they can tell you a time span, other times it may just be that she'll be out "today".

She and bert have been spotted at Minnies breakfast. She also wanders around fantasyland. They do a cute littel show in front of the castle. I would ask and see when and where she will be at.

Yup. I have also seen her on Main St. just as you go under the bridge on the right side, across from the flagpole.

I see Mary Poppins and her sidekick every trip near the medical/child care centers. This is the gate they generally enter the park via. They both will take time to take pictures and talk to the guests resting under the trees along the cement walk way there. If you catch it just right it is almost a private meeting with Mary Poppins. Ask the cast member when she is scheduled to enter park.

Every time I go to Disneyland I see her and Bert on Main St.

We've seen Mary & Bert many times on Main Street. If there is a particular character you are interested in stop at City Hall and ask when they are scheduled to be out. If they don't have the info they can make a call to find out. Personally, we have never seen them at any character meal.

She was right inside the entrance gates last January playing games with kids. I would go ask at Town Hall when you're there if she's on the schedule.

In these two posts are photos I took of Mary and Bert dancing up a storm to Christmas tunes in December - it was one of those purely magical Disney moments. They were not doing a meet and greet or intentional photo session. They were just kind of wandering through the Castle and then stopped when they heard the holiday music:

Why yes she is! And, if you get lucky, you may even get to go for a stroll with her and Bert! DH said my face before and after was priceless. I don't think i'll ever forget this. They were very well cast, to say the very least.

Oh I just remembered!!!! We also saw them at Coke Corner, they were singing with the piano player. That was fun!! We definitely stopped, grabbed some Cherry Coke and watched for a while.

We saw her riding on her horse on the merry go round with Bert and the band. It was about 11:00 in the morning in June. I have a picture but still haven't figured out how to upload etc.

Ask at City Hall and they can tell you when and where she will be that day.

Lately at 2:00 the band with Mary and Bert preform in front of the Castle.
They will ask for Chimny Sweeps to join them in dancing.
After the show they exit to the left to Plaza Gardens and will breifly sign and pose for pictures.

Also, she is often found at Plaza Gardens or the Coke Corner.

AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for all of the great responses. Truthfully, I really didn't think there was much of a chance of seeing her but thought I'd ask anyway. Now, I'm really glad I asked and am sooo excited at the possibility of the boys getting to "meet" her. They will FLIP!
