Mary Poppins show

I didn't want to reply to a really old thread (http://www.disboards.com/threads/mary-poppins-show-time.2682308/), but my DW was wanting to know if this show still happens and when. Has anyone seen it recently?

I'm guessing no one has seen this recently. When I google'd it, I hadn't really seen any mentions of it for a couple years.

I think it still happens once in a while, but it's not a set show per se, so it's not on the times guide and it's not listed on the entertainment calendar. I think it just happens if Mary Poppins and Bert are out and the Pearly Band happens to also be performing. I saw the Pearly Band in FL earlier this month, but I don't think Mary Poppins and Bert were with them at that time.

It still happens, although like @figment_jii mentions, it might only happen if everyone is in the right place at the right time. I saw the show when I was there in May for the 24-hour party. It looked very organized at that time, M & B had props: broomsticks for some kids who were picked from the audience and they unrolled a banner that said "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." It was a cute show. I want to say it happened in the afternoon around 1pm? You could also ask CM at the info booths in the hub. Good luck!

I took a look at the DisneyLand app an hour ago and saw that Mary Poppins and Bert were near the castle. I think that'll be my best bet, just keep an eye on the app. Thanks!

In Sept the band was playing behind the castle near BBB without Mary and Bert. They even walked by going to PFF at one point and just sort of nodded without stopping. When I walked back they were doing a greet near PFF. About a week before that Mary and Bert were greeting outside Coke Corner during lunch with no band and no piano player in sight.

I was just there and saw them do the show this past Friday. They came out 5 minutes before noon and performed with the Pearly Band. They had been scheduled (according to the app) for 4 different 40 minute character meets that morning, but I hadn't seen them out at all for any of the first 3 scheduled meetings (I hung out at the Hub for 15 minutes each time, but they were no-shows), but the 4th scheduled time the Pearly Band arrived 5 minutes after the start of Bert & Mary Poppins' scheduled visit.

Hoping they would join them, I hurried over to the band and Bert & Mary Poppins stepped out & started to perform with them about a minute into their show.
