Mary Poppins experts

I ran into "that Poppins Woman" outside of Cinderella's castle one day. No one was around and I got to visit with her all by myself (ok the CM and my Wife was there too).

I was in Heaven!

She was the "holy grail" for my mother in law when we took her last December. We asked at almost every shop that we went into that week (including the shop in the Grand Floridian) about Poppins merchandise and the only things we found were a few pins, which she bought of course. The only other Mary Poppins thing we found was an oil painting at DTD, but it was way too expensive for a souvenier. We did stumble upon the "practically perfert in every way" nanny about with about 5 minutes left in her shift in the shop in England at Epcot in her regular garb. On our next visit Dec. 08' we hope to find her in her jolly holiday white dress.

A side note for Mary Poppins fans a few years back the Disney catalog had a replica Poppins umbrella of the parrot head variety and I guess they sold out almost right away. My MIL called the day she recieved the catalog and was still too late. She ended up tracking one down on Ebay but I don't know what she paid for it. I just thought some of you might be interested to know these could be floating around

I've seen her at the Princess Breakfast in Norway. They do tell you that there are no guarantees on which Princesses will appear, though.

If you made a cute sign saying "Hi (name)", I'm sure MP would hold it for a pic! The CM's at the UK can advise you about merchandise and appearance times/locations.
