Does anyone have an idea when marvel land will open? Any chance by March? We could care less about Star Wars, But my boys are huge marvel fans.
First time we went there was a marvel area inside a big building in Disneyland, (I’m sure it has a name but I don’t know it) by 2016 it was Star Wars. Any chance it’s changed back to marvel? The Thor meet and greet in 2014 was awesome. My son got picked to try to lift up the hammer. It was the highlight of his entire trip.

March seems unlikely, unfortunately. Last week, Disney said summer 2020. I think there are still some Marvel meet and greets though.

I agree that March is unlikely. That said, there’s quite a lot of Marvel activity with M&G etc in the DCA Hollywoodland backlot area over near the Monsters Inc ride.

No idea. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t announce a date until next year. They’ve got Halloweentime, Holiday time, and opening of RotR all before they need to worry about Avengers Campus. If it’s opening “summer 2020” then that probably means June at the earliest, but maybe not until July or August.

To follow up, I also noticed that the talked about a Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Marvel area. Sounds like the Spider-Man ride and an eatery will be Phase 1, along with several character M&G. The E-Ticket ride will be Phase 2 and they didn't even give a general time frame for that part.

My family is eagerly waiting to see when Disney will finally let us know when the first phase of Avengers Campus opens. We are planning on a June (second week but nothing is set in stone yet) trip and my whole family loves Marvel and hope to be able to see it. Of course we will be back if it doesn't open before our trip (we are becoming regulars of DLR), but when we go we will be seeing both Pixar Pier and Galaxy Edge for the first time that we are very excited about, we are just hoping that Avengers Campus will open during this trip as well. If not, like someone posted before, it will be a great reason to come back
