hello all I am going down in a couple of weeks and just saw that Islands of Adventure had this character breakfast. I was wondering if anyone here has done it and if so could you give a rating/review of it... and what characters are there?

thanks
Robert

We did the breakfast in July. It was great. The characters were Spiderman. Cyclops, Grinch and the Cat in the Hat. We had the earliest reservation and the characters were great interacting with the kids and the food was good. Be aware though that drinks aren't included in the price, you have to pay extra for them and that really jacked up the price. It was still worth it though since that is the only character breakfast at US/IOA.

We did it too in July, but they had Wolverine instead of Cyclops.

It is pricy, but it was a lot of fun. I would definately do it again. The food wasn't too bad either for buffet style. They had a pretty good selection too. They also included the 15% gratuity right into the bill, which is something I wish more places would do.

We did it in August. We also had the earliest seating. Our characters were Cat in the Hat, Grinch, Rogue and Spiderman. CITH and Grinch came out for about 1/2 hour and then left and then Rogue and Spiderman came out for the rest of the time. We were only one of six families in the restaurant, so had lots of interaction with the characters. Rogue actually sat down with us for quite some time and just chatted with the kids. She was great. Food was ok, not great, but the experience was worth it because of all the character time.

We did it in August and the total for 2 adults/2 children with tip was about $60 or $70. It was a nice buffet, nothing extravagant, but definately good food. We saw the Cat in the Hat, Spiderman, Wolverine, and Bluto. All of the characters could be seen elsewhere in the parks, unlike the Disney princess breakfasts where you can only see many of them if you pay for the meal. It was fun, and worth a try.

thanks everybody for the input on the meal I went ahead and booked it...

Robert
