Martinair Question?

Hi

Wondered if anyone knew if the seats in Comfort Class ie rows 6 to 19 , do they all have window seats? If not which seats would have.

I don't know the answer to this but when my parents upgraded to comfort class they phoned KLM, who helped them choose their seats and pay the upgrade fee

each row will be 2-3-2

So you can probably sit in the middle seats without having a window close to you.

I prefer comfort class over economy though. Since comfort class allows you to choose seats as soon as you buy the tickets. And you will get a personal tv thingy.

Have you been on Martinair? my DH said book the comfort class seats and I will do but booking 2 rows of 2 but want to make sure that we have window seats and not a blank wall beside us, When I looked at photos of the aircraft there are maybe a couple of rows of windows then solid walls then windows so wouldn't like to end up at a wall.

Can't help you out on the window part, but have you booked yet? If so; keep an eye on your reservation! MP is known for their ehm..... 'customer friendly rescheduling'. They cancel flights without notice, have been doing so each season. Last season they decided to cancel their MCO flight half way through the season, almost from one day to the next. This season, many folks have already been faced with cancelled flights, some already went through 2 cancelled flights. So you'll want to keep an eye on the reservation in case they end up changing your flights.

Because MP has a very limited amount of planes, it only takes 'that' and the schedule crumbles. One of the reasons their on time performance rat at MCO is labeled very poor. The last few weeks, the longest delay was alomost 8 hours, average 80 minutes. Not too bad for MP actually, they've hit worse numbers.

Thanks for that. yip we booked last november and been checking flights every other day so far booking all ok.

Anyone I know who has flown with them has only had positive things to say, for the price you pay you don't mind the odd hour delay, every transatlantic flight I have been on with other airlines has been delayed to some extent. Infact US Airways cancelled our flight the day before a couple of years ago. I don't think you can complain at £400 for a flight with Martinair in the middle of the summer holidays
I've been regularly checking the flight status' on kayak and although the flights sometimes take off an hour or so late they seem to make alot of that time up over the Atlantic.
My opinion might have changed come the end of August, but for now I still think it's a bargain 6 hour delay or not.

Have phoned KLM but they can't tell me if the seats I would like would defo have a window next to them as opposed to blank wall. So might just bite bullet and pick 2 rows of 2 and hope for best. If anyone has any advice before I do I would be grateful.
