Martin Luther King crowd levels?

Hi everyone,
Has anyone been to WDW over Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday weekend who could comment on crowd levels? It's hard to tell from the historical figures what I might really encounter. (I'm used to June and August.....)

I see that WDW is extending MK hours to 10pm on that Saturday--is that a major indication that there'll be tons of people, or just a nice thing for them to do?

We can't change our plans, but I just wanted to get an idea of what to expect. We'll be arriving Thursday 1/15, departing Monday 1/19. Thanks so much for any thoughts you can share.

We will be arriving the 15th and leaving the 24th. I have heard that the weekend is quite busy for MLK. But it should clear out a bit by late Monday. I am thinking it wil be busy but manageable, not like Easter or Christmas.

My family has been at WDW for the past two MLK weekends and will be returning this Jan. We have found crowds to be manageable although we have not actually been inside of any of the parks on Monday. We do Downtown that day before we head home.

We were there last year over the MLK weekend. Saturday we did EPCOT and did not have any problems with large crowds. We went MK Saturday night for the parade and fireworks and it was packed. Sunday we did MGM and with Fast Pass it wasn't too bad. On Monday we returned to MGM and it was so full. TOT and RNRC had waits over over 1 1/2 hour at 10am - we ended up leaving around 11am and headed back to the pool.

There is a huge soccer tournament that weekend at Disney and most of the players go to the parks on Monday! Good Luck!
