A question for past CPers:

Do you think that I will have enough time to take martial arts classes? I really want to take Kendo, and there's a school not too far from housing, so says Google. I want to be able to devote the proper time to it, but not have it interfere with working, because that's the reason I'll be there. What do you think?

I was really hoping to try to take some type of martial arts too.. I don't think it will take to much time away from our disney time.. most schools only have 1 or 2 classes a week for 1 or 2 hours a class. I'm hoping to find a school that I enjoy. let me know if you decide to continue. it just depends on the cost. im trying to save up so im not sure.

Umm... I don't think so. Actually, I've never heard of it.

I'm curious about this as well. I'm debating whether or not to bring my equipment because I'm really not sure if I'll have time off to go to classes in the area (I take Cuong Nhu). My sensei is really pushing it, but I'm trying to be realistic about scheduling.

Honestly, You probably wont find much time for any sort of activity that is on a fixed schedule, so i wouldnt get your hopes up on that one.

It just depends on your work location.

I work at a restaurant that only operates for dinner. Therefore the earliest I can ever work is 2:30. Some only do breakfast and lunch.

If you are a lifeguard you may run into similar scheduling (for instance always having mornings).

Only a few roles are like this, but if you got one that had a pretty solid schedule you would probably have time for it. Or, if you had the same days off every week. I have had the same days off for pretty much my entire program.

I also looking forward to put it on my schedule. For some reasons I cannot do so. I suggest if it will not conflict on your schedule and it won't bring tiredness and stress to you, then try it. Quit if you can't :scared1:
