Has anyone stayed here in the last year?

We aren't staying there until December, but just wondering what people think. We've stayed at Grand Vista and Harbor Lakes and love them both.

I haven't stayed there but it is the highest rated timeshare in the Orlando area on TUG ( timeshare users group).

yeah, i've heard a lot but never stayed there.

the location is not ideal for disney-focused trips as it's a little further out (not bad, but not right around the corner like the palms resorts) but lakeshore reserve is the newest marriott and stunning from all reports.

I also haven't stayed there but did visit the property when it was fairly new and thought, at the time, that the villas were nicer than those at either Grande Vista or Cypress Harbour and much nicer than those at Harbour Lake. I don't now remember much in the way of details, though I do recall thinking that the villa interior were more luxurious. The resort is located about three miles from Grande Vista (closer as the crow flies, as the resort is roughly due east from Buildings 89 and 90 at Grande Vista and the two resorts are separated by a couple of neighborhoods and a golf course) and maybe four miles from the closest I-4 interchange so it has pretty good access to the area theme parks, restaurants and shopping.

I believe that guests have access to the amenities at the two hotels that are on the property as well as the resort's own typical Marriott amenity features.

This looks like a very nice Marriott property.

We have stayed at Lakeshore Reserve twice. Once in 2010 and another in 2012. The resort is truly great. A lot of people like its more luxurious feel. The resort is not completely built out so the pool and other amenities are built out for a larter resort so it may not seem as crowded. Though they do have another pool complex planned for when they do finish the build.

The villas also have a more upscale feel over Harbour Lake, Grande Vista and Cypress Harbour. A more contemporary look and nice balcony furniture.

The resort also has its own lazy river, small but still nice. Access to the JW Marriott is great and it has a much larger lazy river and pool complex. Though depending on when you visit (around a holiday), access may be restricted.

Also keep in mind that it is further from the parks. Perhaps 10 to 15 minute further. Though I wouldn't let that sway my decision whether to stay at Lakeshore Reserve or not.

Here are a couple links to photos from our visits.

Thanks for the responses and pictures! The resort looks beautiful! I am excited to stay there. My parents had already booked our stay prior to me posting. We just got done staying at Harbour Lakes and didn't mind the drive. It looks like (according to Google maps) that Lakeshore is only about a 5 minute longer drive. I can handle that :goodvibes
