Hi all,
We are DVC members. My relatives own timeshares in Hawaii and Gatlinburg and have access to Interval International's "getaways" for cheap prices. On our spring trip we are thinking about going to Orlando for two weeks. Our second week would be at Disney's Old Key West on points (which I adore in the spring) because of it's Florida feel and all the great landscaping, especially after coming from a barren Indiana winter.
My question is this, I've been looking at pictures of Marriott's Cypress Harbour and to me it's got that Florida Key West look. Is it like that in person? I'm going from pictures and sometimes pictures don't tell the whole story. Is it similar to Disney's Old Key West in feel? I'm thinking of booking a "getaway" at Marriott's Cypress Harbour if I can get it for the first week of our trip. I've been to Marriott's Grande Vista and I think it's pretty, too. But I actually prefer more of an old Florida feel instead of fancy, fancy.
I know some of you on this board own DVC and other timeshares and stay at both. So I thought you would have some first-hand knowledge of the comparison between these two resorts.
Thanks for any replies.
