any feed back on the resort ??

rooms / pools / service ???

thanks

An excellent 4 star resort. I stayed there through Priceline in May 2000 and truly adored it.

The rooms are beautifully appointed. We had a balcony that was near the glass elevator that the kids loved.

They have 6 pools and probably the best offsite pools Orlando has to offer! There is an inside pool and one with a slide.

The service was well above par. So much that I emailed the hotel afterwards to thank them! Even my sister who called while we were there, knew this was a special hotel by the way she was treated on the phone!

I think you will enjoy it!

We got MOWC a few years ago through priceline. I have to agree that it is a beautifully apointed hotel. Gorgeous pools and hot tubs. they do charge a resort fee and the shuttle busses are not free. sorry I don't remember the prices for the shuttle. Try calling.

I have traveled extensively in my life and stayed at MOWC on my first trip to Orlando, and I must say this is by far one of the best hotels I stayed at in my life. We had a room with balcony overlooking one of the pools, the food was fantastic, rooms spotless and the overall experience great. The only drawback was the fees, there seemed to be a few for everything, i.e. shuttle, parking, resort fee, etc, so be prepared for all the surprise charges.

You can ask to waive the fee and depending on who you speak to, you may get away with it.

MOWC has the best offsite pool(s) maybe except for grand cypress. Great onsite restaurant choices and even onsite nitelife
(lounge and a sportsbar) One of the most complete, self contained resorts in the area.

Parking tip: park in the free parking garage waaayyy out at the end of the convention rooms. Pick up the courtesy phone there and they'll come get you in an oversized golf cart. That eliminates both a long hoof and the valet parking fee.

I'm so excited about all this good info! We just got this hotel through Priceline, too. Does anyone know if they will valet free for handicapped people? Our son uses a wheelchair. Any accessibility issues here that anyone is aware of? Thanks!

roadtripper:
Congratulations on your Priceline win of the MOWC. We also got this resort on Priceline ($75 per night) and it looks like we will be there at the same time as you. We also got the Dolphin on Priceline for 2 of the nights of our stay.

If you are planning to use the shuttle to the parks, check to see if they are wheelchair accessible. I know that has been an issue with some of the off-site places.
