Marriott Rewards Ticket Question - upgrading to PAP

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading these boards for years have never seen this asked. Marriott Rewards program has a 7 day PHP that I can use my points to redeem. Here's the question - Can I upgrade this to a PAP when I arrive? If I don't use it at all and go to Guest Relations on my first day will they give me full value for the 7-day PHP towards a PAP? This would save me a large sum of money on our next trip, especially if there are AP discounts in July.

Award tickets are not upgradeable due to their treatment as non-cash tickets (same as comps) by Disney. Sorry.

Oh well.. I was a good thought! Maybe I'll just save those reward points for another trip!
