We are planning a trip for the beginning of JUly and will be staying at the Residence Inn. What can you tell me about your experience there? TIA for your help!

We just returned from a 1 week stay at this hotel. We also stayed there 2 years ago. I do have to say that we were not as impressed this time, but still felt the experience was okay. The rooms are good sized, though the breakfast gets real sickening after a few days. We did have an issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom upon check in (at 9PM) and I had gone down to the front desk after 10PM and they offered to send someone up to clean it. I asked to wait until the next day, as I had 3 kids sleeping. The shower curtain had several spots of mold. I was very surprised when we returned to the hotel the next evening to find a brand new shower curtain. The biggest complaint I have was the very uneducated front desk people, as I had one trying to tell me that SeaWorld and Discovery Cove were competing parks.

Overall, the hotel is okay. My kids absolutely loved the pool area. The rooms are really big, and it is nice having a full size fridge. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you. I appreciate your feedback Dolphan. I am looking forward to our trip.

There are several Residence Inn's in the Orlando area. The two closest to WDW are the one in Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway. The other is near Seaworld.

Jusr reread your post and realize that you are staying at the Seaworld location.
I have enjoyed my stays there. It is a huge hotel as far as Residence Inn's go. It's pretty conveniently located to all the attractions.
The breakfast area gets pretty crowded, and will be more enjoyable if you can go early or late.

I couldnt agree more, we have stayed there 2Xs in 4 years and loved it. Very close to everything, Publix is just around the corner for all your needs etc.
Its not like the Residence Inn to be totally clean? We have never run one that was ever dirty. :confused3 So sorry
