I just had a stay at the Marriott Orlando World for 5 nights. I was there for a veterinary conference. This hotel seems to be very conference, and business driven, but I did see a lot of families there as well. I would imagine that this is a good place to bring your whole family if you have to be there for a conference anyway. The hotel is literally 5 mins from the gates at Disney.
I had a great room, located in the North Tower on the 18th floor. I could see the Epcot ball and the nightly fireworks perfectly. You could see the fireworks at MK as well. Downtown Disney is right outside the door too.
The hotel has a huge pool area with a waterslide, as well as an indoor pool and arcade. The only downside to this hotel is price. It was very expensive to stay there, eat there and park there. The room was very clean, the food was good, and customer service was excellent!
