Marriott is currently offering 6 free nights if you sign up for their Marriott Visa rewards.

It states that you can get 6 free nights in one of their hotels leveled at 1-4. How do I know which are level 1-4? Is Residence Inn part of that?

Also, on the website Residence Inn lists free hot breakfast. Do they still have a free light supper/snack in the evenings M-Th? Anyone know?

Thank you!

Residence Inns could be part of it (any of the Marriott brands could be), but it depends on the location. For example, Residence Inn Times Square in NYC is a Level 7.

On each individual hotel page there is a link for 'Marriott Rewards Points' - click on that and it will show you the level. Not sure if there is a comprehensive list in one spot, but you could probably call guest services and ask them.

Not sure about the dinner, except for the fact that the RI Times Square did NOT have it when we stayed there.

It depends on the location in the Orlando area, too. I found Residence Inn Seaworld and Lake Buena Vista to be 5's, I Drive, Convention Center, and Airport to be 4's, and others farther away from WDW to be 3's. Most Residence Inn's do still have some sort of evening snack (not really a full meal). Hope this helps! :thumbsup2

I've seen a list of the various levels. I'm pretty sure it was on the Marriott web site.

Thank you! That does help. I will look and see if I can find the individual locations.

I can't find it on the website. I may need to call them.

Good grief this website is painfully slow today. Click "reply," go read a bunch of emails, come back......click "read," go check Facebook, come back.

ARGH!

If you click on the fact sheet under each individual hotel, it will give you the level of hotel it is. Also in the corner where it says Marriott rewards points. Most are 5s that are closer to MK area. Also, springhill suites is one to consider. We have the card and literally use it for all our purchases. Helps add up!

Ok, it lists "category" instead of level. I assume they are the same???

Do the Springhill Suites like a condo?

Yes, the Marriott Rewards category listed on the various hotels' home pages are the same as Marriott Rewards levels.

Springhill Suites rooms are Junior Suites. I'm not familiar with the interiors of the Orlando Springhills but most of those Springhill hotels are pretty much the same. I don't believe that there's a door between the bedroom and the living room area. There are usually either a king bed or two double beds in the bedroom, a sofa bed (I think it's a queen but could be a double) in the living room area, and there's a small refrigerator and a microwave oven in the living room area, too.

Spring Hill Suites Seaworld is a category 4. We have stayed here and liked it! The location is pretty good and not too long a drive from WDW.

Ok, after reading the fine print, I am not sure this is the best deal.

It says that you get 30,000 bonus points after you use your CC which is enough for 4 free nights at a category ONE hotel.....then you receive 2 free nights at a category 1-4 level.

So, the first 4 nights couldn't be at a Residence Inn anyway.....

There is a better deal right now if you stay at two different Marriott properties before the end of April 2012 you get a free night from a cat 1-4 hotel. Info is on the Marriott rewards page.

Thanks. We aren't going anywhere this month. Our next trip to Orlando planned is November.
