Marriott Horizons

Has anyone recently stayed at the Horizons near SeaWorld. I was wondering how far along they are with the pools, mart, theater and golf area. We are traveling 6/27 for a wk stay.

Hi -
I am just back from the Residence Inn right next door and took the Horizons tour. The water playground and pirate ship pool is done and looks great. They are working on the next building and construction is going on all day. Other parts of the grounds looked fine as I rode around in the golf cart - but you will definitely see that new building going up. Sorry I can't be of more help - I do think that Marriott has a great deal w/ their current Horizons timeshare purchase and would look into it if you haven't already. The purchase incentives alone are great!

Did they tell you when the putt putt course and other amenities will be finished? We toured Horizons last year and the new building had not yet begun constuction. We're looking forward to going down the 10th!!!

they didn't say or I was still half asleep - it was a 7:30 am tour!
Looked like some small greens area might be nearer to main entrance. She did say that they have yet to START on the building across the street from the gatehouse. I imagine one day the Horizons complex will block the Residence Inn.
