Marriott Harbour Lake?

Thinking of a possible 5 night stay at Marriott Harbour Lake before checking into AKL.

Would be myself, DH and 2 boys ages 5 & 7.

Anyone stayed here before? And if so, is it a great resort for kids?

The resort is perfect for the age group of your kids. Great pools and lots of activities.

I would not be surprised if they like it more than AKL and the Parks, so be prepared for some "we want to go back to Harbour Lake" comments from them.

Make sure to plan lots of resort time if you go.

I also agree - don't be surprised at the family being spoiled by the villa size and it all! I've stayed at both many times, and we love the Marriott way more than AKL.

Agreed! Since we have stayed there my kids have kept begging for a pool trip only there.

Yeah. My dd griped the whole time we were at MK that she wanted to go back and play in the pirate pools. We seriously wondered why we bothered with Disney tix. Harbour Lake is the best resort we have ever stayed at for young children.

We actually have NO Disney parks planned while spending 6 days at MHL, but we may do Universal Studio's or IOA for a day or 2. I will see how things go when we arrive at the resort.

We will be spending 10 days at AKL, so we will get our park days in then! We love AKL, but have never been to MHL, so I guess we will find out which resort we like better! I'm excited to be able to do both on our vacation

I was wondering if anyone knows if their is a height requirement for the waterslide at MHL? My 5 year old is small, and I'm hoping he can use the waterslide cause he LOVES them!

You will definately fall in love with the room space.

There are small slides off of the pirate ship that your 5 year old can definately use. Not sure about the big slide but I would think he'll be okay there too. It is not too crazy a slide.

Thank-you! It really does look like a great, fun resort! The reviews are fabulous, and looks like lots of activities go on throughout the day.
