I seem to be going round in circles, there is just too much choice in Orlando!

I had all but chosen the Marriott Harbour Lake but am worried it's too far out from everywhere?

We are going for 8 nights in October and will be spending at least half of that time at Disney World and the other thought was would we be anywhere near a Walmart, or even someone nice for breakfast?

Anyone have any experience of this please?

I have to admit one of the reasons we liked the look of this place was the kids pool as I have a 2 and 8 year old.

Harbour Lake is pretty centrally located. While you really can't walk to anything, getting on I4 is quick and easy. So any Disney park is no more than a 15 minute drive at most.

There is a Walmart only a few miles away on Turkey Lake Road. As for places to eat breakfast, you don't really need them if you have a 1BR or larger unit at Harbour Lake since you will have a full kitchen. Just pick up some breakfast items at Walmart and there is no need to go anywhere for breakfast. You will save a bunch of money too.

If you want to go out for breakfast, I know there is a Denny's about a mile or so away on International Drive at Central Florida Pkwy.

Thank you. We decided on Floridays in the end as we got a 2 bedroom suite for the same price as a room at Marriott's Harbour Lake. I would like to try that one next time.

Harbour Lake is a great resort with excellent facilities, plus great activities for younger kids and families. They (and possibly you) won't want to leave the resort!

It's pretty much next door to SeaWorld. There is a nearby CVS, Publix grocery store, Wal-Mart just 3 miles away, plus a Whole Foods.

It's a very easy drive to Disney -- depending on the traffic on I-4 of course. The area around Harbour Lake is not a congested as some other resort areas.

Harbour lake is super close to the on ramp to I4. Downtown Dianey is just 1 exit after you get onto I4. Sea World is down the street.

It really is a great location.
