We stayed at Marriott Harbour Lake from February 25 - March 1, 2011 in room 3027. Here is my review:
• Room 3027 is a nice room with a queen size bed, a sofa bed, balcony and a kitchenette with microwave, dorm fridge & coffee maker. Very clean and looks to be recently updated.
• You have to push the heavy sofa ottoman out of the way or you cannot pass between the open sofa bed and the TV credenza.
• Room 3027 is a corner room that overlooks the main entrance road and the 1st road to the right. It is a bit noisy and bright at night. Just bring your eye mask and ear plugs and it is all good.
• Kids night out was a hit with our son. He enjoyed the pizza, ice cream and Wii games.
• The pools were great. Beer selection at pool bars was lame.
• We took the iRide trolley to I-Drive twice for $1.25 each way. Just know that it will most likely drop you off on Universal Dr. and you will have to walk over to I-Drive. I think we got off at stop G-11 to do this. (At La Quinta at Universal Dr.) From there we went to Bahama Breeze & Miller’s Ale House.
• Location of resort is good but without a car it would be hard to navigate from Harbour Lake. It is quiet at the resort so if you want a lot of action, this is not the place for you.
