Marriott Grande Vista or Bonnet Creek?

Has anybody stayed at both? I have stayed at Grande Vista 6 years running but this year I thought about switching it up to Bonnet Creek. Main reason is that I can save almost 50%. Are these 2 hotels comparable?

We love both resorts. Most recent stay at MGV was June 2008 and last March we stayed at BC, always in a 2 bedroom. This year will be BC again. Both have tons of activities at the resort but my kids prefer the pools and lazy river at BC. DH loves how much closer BC is to all the parks and downtown disney so whether we drive or take the shuttle, it's a very quick trip. MGV has that neat little beach area which I don't remember BC having, but BC seems like a smaller complex and easier to get around. Enjoy!

I am also trying to decide where to stay...how far is Sea World from Bonnet Creek??? Thanks.

We have stayed at both.

I preferred Bonnet Creek. You can't beat the location. It seems like the only non-Disney resort in that Disney area. You pull out and take a left and your next turn will be Hollywood Studios.

The buses ran but you really have to keep track of their schedule. We had a car so we used that unless I took my son one place while the other napped. Then I took the bus and met my husband at another park.

I also like that the rooms at BC are enclosed like a hotel. The doors at the MGV go right outside. Don't know why but it makes me more nervous.
