Marriott Grande Vista Construction - Anyone there?

Thinking of doing an II Exchange here for the end of April. I see on their site that this resort is under constrcution from march to May. Anyone just there during construction, and did it interfere with yoru trip?

My SIL just was there 2 months ago and of course said there was no construction. We actually just did the II exchange and picked up the 2 bdrm for the week 5/21-5/28. We staying at Disney's All Star Movies 5/19-5/21 and have 7 day park passes. I don't expect that we'll be at the resort much anyway to notice the construction.

We've not been there recently but when we there last year refurbishment activity was going on. Back then they were doing one building at a time - and the work was all inside except for the chute and trash recepticles accepting things they were pulling out of the villas. While we weren't staying in a building near the one being refurbed I did walk by it a couple of times a day and didn't notice any noise that was disturbing. You might want to call the resort a couple of weeks before your check-in date and request that you be placed away from any buildings that are being refurbished.
