Ok, we are no longer going to stay at Liki Tiki Village (to many bad reviews). Friends of ours are staying at the Marriott Grand Vista through a timeshare rental and wondering if anyone has ever stayed there. Maybe we should spend the extra monies and stay somewhere nice.

Can't go wrong with the Grande Vista. We own a week there and love it!!!

if they don't give you either a rehab or a new room - you certainly can go wrong at GV.

how long are you staying?

if a week then go look here

www.condodirect.com

there are some Marriott's from time to time.

If you go through Marriott
www.vacationclub.com
I would make sure you get a rehab or new villa.

Loved the Grande Vista. Join Marriott Rewards for free and then check for members only rates (Code M11) in the promo box when checking prices. We have gotten great rates this way.

Definitely make sure you get a refurbished unit and make sure you check out the new pool area.

I think you will love it here.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the GV!! There is another thread here about it. There are quite a few people who have asked aobut it. We had a new room with a balcony, jacuzzi tub, really nice kitchen...we loved the place. You can't go wrong there. Even if you don't do the park one day, there is so much to do there that you just can't be board.

Hiya

I am coming from the UK so have booked the Grande Vista via a UK travel agent. Has anyone any tips to ensure that I can get a newly refurbished or new room. I am due to check in on 30 June. Should I contact the hotel resort direct and if so when?

We'll be there April 23-30rd and will be happy to fill you in when we return. This will be our 2nd visit to this resort, we love it. :wave2:
