There are two additional pool areas at the resort - the smallest of the three pool areas, known as the Bayside Pool, at the west end of the resort lake nears Buildings 60 and 62, and the large Clubhouse Pool area that's adjacent to the main clubhouse. Also near the Clubhouse Pool are the resort's Marketplace store, the Pizza Hut Express, the Galley Grill and the Pavillion Bar. There are lots of deck chairs and lounge chairs near that Clubhouse Pool, one or two hot tubs, many tables/chairs in the area.
Near the front of the resort, there are a couple of tennis courts, a fairly new work-out facility and a spa. On the grounds, there's a putting green, a shuffleboard court, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a bocce court, a little mini-golf course, an odd little fleet of water craft for rent, and bicycles and bike surreys for rent. And, though the entrance isn't from Cypress Harbour property, there is a golf course that sort of wraps around most of the resort (access to Marriott's Grande Pines Golf Course is on International Drive, a little less than 2 miles from the resort).
The location of the resort is nice. An I-4 West exchange is right around the corner for easy access to the various parts of Disney; similarly, nearby Turkey Lake Road provides easy access to Universal; and SeaWorld is actually reasonably walkable from the resort. There are many restaurants within a short drive and the Premium Outlets (Vineland) are 2 1/2 to 3 miles away.
To top it off, we've always found the staff at this resort to be the nicest and most accommodating of any resort in the area (the small staff at Marriott's Sabal Palms resort are pretty special, too), at least of those we've stayed at.
