Marriott Cypress Harbour or Vistana Villages

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I've been reading the boards for a few weeks and have learned an amazing amount! Thanks for all the advice!

We are planning for our very first trip to WDW in June. We have reservations for Marriott Cypress Harbour. We now have an opportunity for the Sheraton Vistana Villages for a good bit less than the cost of CH. DH is inclined to stick with CH, as we have stayed at a Marriott timeshare in Hilton Head that seems similar that we loved.

My question is should we switch? Also, which is the better location to WDW? We will be there for a week and plan to take one or two days away from the parks to just hang out.

oh dear - I have heard good things about both.

Vistana Village is definitely newer.

Cypress Harbour probably has more to do.

VV is closer to WDW but not by must and only if you use the backroads - if you use the I4 then CH is closer....

tough decision!

We were at Vistana Villages from April 18-26th. We loved it! We went to Disney World 3 days, Universal 3 days, and Sea World 1 day. None of these parks were more than 15 minutes away from the resort.
