I think there is some confusion about this topic. Maybe there are some experts out there who can enlighten us  .

Apparently this resort offers free access to their beach and pool for cruise guests. That sounds pretty darn good, so I did an internet search on this resort, and found almost nothing. However, there is a Wyndham Crystal Palace resort. Is it the same place?

If anyone has experience with this, could they please give the details? THANKS :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

i would like to know about this also. maybe skip atlantis and head over there, i believe someone posted it has a casino also.

It is called the Wyndham Crystal Palace now. We went there on our 4/1/04 cruise, but only to gamble. I don't know about using the beach/pool, but we walked the beach and walked around the pool with no problems. At the Atlantis we could get nowhere near the beach without a bracelet and people "guarding" it. Not like that at the CP. But the Atlantis is way more beautiful.

Personally, having been to both places, I recommend going to Cable Beach!!!!

Yes, the Marriott Crystal Palace is now the Wyndham Crystal Palace. I called their 1-800 # and spoke with a very nice women. She said they welcome cruisers for free to use the facilities except over spring break when they are too crowded to accomodate extra guests. She said to remember to bring your own towels. It sounds like a great option!

We have been to this hotel a couple of times for the casinos while staying at Breezes which was a couple of hotels away. It is a very nice hotel with a great beach and pool. If our cruise was stopping on the Bahamas, we would most certainly go there instead of the Atlantis.

Thanks so much I was trying to find this out too! Just could not locate it.

OK now, When we get off the ship, you can just catch a cab and ask to go there or does this transportation have to be pre-arranged? Also how much would this run? How far is the ride?

Thanks again, MKY princess:

Does anyone know if they have a website that we could see pictures of the resort? This sounds like a nice place to visit!
