My friend ate at Tangeriene Cafe and loved it but DH wants to 'be served' at a TS and Marrakesh looks pretty.

I've seen pics of the food at both places and the TC platter just looks huge and you get a few different things to try and at RM it's more of a fancy plating w/ smaller portions and you just get to try 1 thing.

Correct me if I'm wrong and which place did you like better and why.

Thanks!!

I've ate at both and I just love Tangeriene Cafe! It's my favorite favorite counterservice!

I'd say you need to do both but once you do, go to your favorite. We like Tangeriene Cafe better and it also saves us a TS credit to go to another WS restaurant.

Haven't tried TC yet, but we did enjoy our meal at RM a few years ago. If you want a TS, it is good and they've got entertainment :goodvibes The "Night in Casablanca" is really good and lets you try a few different things.

I am madly in love with the falafel wrap, tabouleh and couscous from TC...it is amazing. DH loves the meatballs with saffron rice there as well.

DH enjoys his schwarma sandwich and hummus at the Tangierine Cafe

We LOVE the wraps and lentil salad at TC! It's our favorite. We can't wait to go back there next week!

Haven't eaten at the table service but we LOVED Tangerine cafe. We ate there in the evening at one of the outdoor tables. The moroccan band happened to be playing at the outdoor stage right across the pathway. There seemed to be plenty of available tables indoors and out. Given how good the counter service is I don't think I'd pay the table service prices in Morocco.

We usually have to do both! This weekend, DD and I will be on a budget trip (only 1 TS- Hoop De Doo) and we are going to do TC for sure.

We've done TC several times and RM once. The food at RM was ok, but the service was not very friendly. I'd rather save my $ and eat at TC. We've always had a good experience there.

Just a suggestion...

If you want actual Moroccan food, then eat at Restaruant Marrakesh. Tangerine Cafe is a Mediterean type restaruant. If you travel to Morocco, you will not find gyros, schawrma, Falafel or Baklava. These are Middle East foods. My husband (whom I met while he was working at the Moroccan Pavillion) never ate Falafel or Hommus until he came to the U.S.:goodvibes

Exactly. We love Middleastern foods but was not impressed with the the food at Marrakesh. However, it is CS and I have been there when it has been so busy it is hard to get a seat while Marrakesh you can practically walk into it at any time.

Our family has lunch at Restaurant Marrakesh every trip and we enjoy it a lot.
