Marrakesh or Le Cellier????

Ok..I have been wanting to try Marrakesh for a few years, but after reading everyone's raving reviews of LeCellier it's got me thinking! We haven't been there either. Both sound outstanding and well, we can always see the belly dancer outside (along with all the smiling men and wives rolling their eyes ) of Marrakesh. Anyone been to both? We like all kinds of foods so that's not an issue. We're going in July. We'll be on the Dining Plan when DVC offers it in January) and we have our 2 DDs with us (10 and 3 at that time) if that comes into play. Marrakesh or Le Cellier??? Decisions?? (Oh..I know it's 2 TS credits too) TIA!!

Since when are Marrakesh or Le Cellier 2 TS credits?? The list of the dining plan restaurants I saw shows them as only 1 TS credit, as they should be.
We actually ate at both on our last trip. The atmosphere in Le Cellier is plain and boring, but the food was delicious. The chocolate "moose" for dessert was super! The inside of Marrakesh is very beautiful and exotic, but the belly dancer only performs sporadically, so we only saw her dance for about 5 minutes before she left. We didn't care for the food there at all, but maybe that's just us.

Le Cellier changed from two to one table service credit many months ago - I'd really do both!

I'd be interesting to see if Le Cellier goes to 2 again - they are a high value restaurant.

Ssssshhhhh... don't say that! I have reservations at both places and would hate to cancel one of them.

I was not impressed w/ the food at Marakesh, and we like exotic. The atmosphere was lovely, belly-dancer had a good time w/ our kids.

We're going in Feb to LeCellier because I heard so much about the cheese soup! I hope we are not disappointed.

Oops..I'm sorry..Marrakesh is only 1 TS credit....I could've sworn Le Cellier is 2 TS for 2006, but not positive. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry for giving anyone a panic attack. Still can't decide which one though. It seems everyone wants a Le Cellier ADR which must mean it's really good!

Definately LeCellier!!! We went to both on our Nov/Dec trip and Marrakesh was our biggest disappointment. Here's the comparison.

Food: Both very good but LeCellier definately is alot better.
Service: Excellent friendly service at LeCellier. Adequate service at Marrakesh (prompt without waiting long), sodas were never refilled and waiter not very friendly.
Family Friendliness: Although LeCellier doesn't have any entertainment like Marrakesh we were very disappointed in the bellydancer who did just a short show and didn't invite the kids up to join her, she went thru a very small portion of the dining area and pulled an adult up to dance.
Dining plan friendliness: Marrakesh did not offer any appetizer for the child credit and the only dessert offered was a plain scoop of icecream, we had the candlelight package which includes the same things as the dining plan. I'm not sure about kid's appetizers at LeCellier but they had a few really neat things on the dessert menu.

Ate at Le Cellier last Wednesday and Marrakesh last Friday. First time for Le Cellier and it was the best meal and dining experience we had all week. Rosie, our waiter from Vancouver was wonderful and the food was the fantastic. The mushroom risotto was the best thing I ate all week.

On the other hand Marrakesh was a major disapointment. We had eaten there in the past and had enjoyed it very much. This time, all the food was overcooked and dry and we felt very rushed by the servers. At one point while my DS was watching the musicians play, our waiter came and took his dish away without asking if he was done eating. He was not done eating BTW.

Both restaurants are 1 TS (right now)and I would strongly suggest Le Cellier over Marrakesh. The reason I say right now is that our bill at Le Cellier was over $200 for the 4 of us. Thank you dining plan!!!
