Marrakesh or Biergarten?

Which would you choose to eat at in World Showcase, and why?

Honestly, we love both. But it is Biergarten if we had to choose 1. But consider doing the Tangerine Cafe for lunch in Morocco. Outstanding bargain for the large portions. Although, Restaurant Marrakesh is also outstanding....... hmmmm.....

Our family has done both restuarants once, and we enjoyed both.

IMHO, Biergarten tends to have a wider appeal. For me personally though, the choice is clearly Marrakesh. I throughly loved the food, fun and everything in Morroco. A real treat.

I know we're in the minority here but if Tangeriene Cafe is any indication of how Marrakesh is, we'd skip it for sure. The texture of the meats served at Tangereine was like beef jerky - YUK!

Biergarten on the other hand was enjoyed by DH, DS & I on our last two trips and would definitely recommend it.

I have done both and thought the food was better at Marrekesh. Hard to compare service as one is buffet, but the service at Marrekesh was outstanding and they are more than helpful in going over the menu. Our server was quite proud of his homeland and encouraged us to come visit - that was a very nice component of our visit that day.

Ambiance, I would say is tied. Both were great, and the entertainment at both was very good.

I think it comes down to what kind of food you will like more. Look at the menus and decide.

They are very different and I really enjoyed them both.

I absolutely love Marrakesh. We tried it on a whim last year and were blown away. The Chicken Bastilla appetizer is to die for, plus it's tons of fun watching the belly dancer We're going back in September!!

Never been to the Biergarten so can't say how good/bad it is, but we have been to the Marrakesh a couple of times and enjoyed the meal both times

Service was good too.

We've decided to book Marrakesh rather than Biergarten this year. I myself was trying to figure which out of the 2 to go for. I looked at the menus and read reviews which made me choose Marrakesh.

I would have to say Biergarten.This was the only place my whole family agreed we had to dine at on our return trip,and I have the pickiest eaters!

we all come from a German background and are very fond of the traditional dishes there. even my 2.5 year old likes the food there. (saugages and red cabbage are things she gets giddy over....go figure)

not to mention the show with a roudy "hoy, hoy, hoy!" at the end is too much fun.

My experiences in Marrakesh two of the last three times weren't good. Both of those times were with a group of about 10-12 people. They crammed us into the corner with tables that didn't fit together. When any of the other tables around us were getting up it was very awkward. There wasn't room for all of the plates, and the service was just ok. The food was pretty good. But I left both times saying I wasn't going back.

But there are other people in the group that had to go so just when I think I'm out, I get pulled back in.

The middle time, we were a group of 8. We had proper tables, and the service was excellent. Our waitress pulled our two year old up to dance with the belly dancer and he didn't want to leave the restaurant. He loved it. He remembered that this last time...we couldn't even get up to the stage if we wanted to when all the other kids were dancing.

I think I like the food better in Germany, and the tables are always the same, so that's never an issue. My son also liked to dance there. He was actually running circles around the big alpine horn when the guy was playing it.
