I was reading somewhere that at the marketplace at BC that you can make your own parfait? does anyone know about this...and how do you like the marketplace, in general?

*edit*does anyone know if the parfait counts as a snack credit?

thank you so much!

We love the Marketplace at BC! We stopped there every morning for breakfast, and pretty much everything we chose was considered a snack. I think even breakfast croissants were a snack, as well. I didn't ever have the parfait, but my husband did. :)

We love the BC but the Marketplace is just an afterthought.

Even after the expansion it is still too small and clumsy. The Grand Floridian's QS is soo much bigger, better, and more organized.

Do you mean yogurt parfaits? They aren't really "make your own" but "choose your own" because the CMs make them. They have blueberries, strawberries, granola, that sort of thing. My kids love them. They've been a snack credit in the past, but I am not sure for 2011.

We will be staying @ BC for the first time in Aug. I am alittle concerned about the BC Marketplace because of it's limited choices. The make your own salad looks good though. Does anyone have any opinions on the make your salad? Thanks

We actually really enjoy the BC Marketplace.

I agree that it is awkwardly placed at the back of the "gift shop" area, so it does make it seem that the selection would be minimal.

But once you get past that feeling, it turns out to be a good little spot.

We have enjoyed everything we have gotten from there. There are some yummy sandwiches, and even the pita pizza from the kids' meal was great.

For the salad, you select your ingredients, and the CM freshly tosses it all together behind the counter. DH had one and said it was delicious.

We never had the parfait, though.

Love, the BC Marketplace, small but has a selection that meets our needs. Quality food.

We loved BC but I thought the Marketplace was terrible when you compare it to the CS at the other deluxe resorts. I didn't like anything that I ordered from there, I actually thought that the food was better at Hurricane Hannahs which is pretty sad. We are staying at YC this year and I intend to eat all our CS at Epcot if we are at the resort so we got park hoppers for this trip.
