Have you ever wished you had a hot-line to Disney for some great idea you have? I was curious what people have thought Disney should create. For example, we were watching Ponnochio last night and I thought a nice graduation present would be Jiminy Cricket in a matchbox engraved with "Always let your conscience be your guide."

Any others?

I wouldn't want to give them my ideas, because they might run with them, make millions, and I would get nothing.

That is what the Imagineering team is for.

Until I am an Imagineer making an Imagineer salary, I will keep any ideas I might get to myself. :snooty:

But, I'm not an imagineer or will I ever be one so my ideas are worth $0 now. So at this point I would just like them done. I want to buy that Jiminy Cricket thing for grauation presents this year to stick some money into.

Disney Consumer Products would be the people who would design what you are looking to buy, FYI.

I have a Jim Shore figurine that is similar to what you are describing!

years ago, before Tinker Bell got her own movies, i had mentioned to a cast member "how come Tinker Bell isn't in the parks? or in the parades?" and she tried to tell me it was because she was "too small" and "kids would be confused as to why she's so big"(but yet a mouse can be 5 feet tall :confused3)

but i had mentioned to her that you could do something like have people walk thru a room, blow some glitter at them, and then the next room they go into everything is oversized and Tinker Bell is there waiting for you.

and guess what they have at Magic Kingdom now??

Wow! Pretty cool, though! I just wish there was a site where we could say "I wish Disney would do..." and they could go through the list and get ideas. No money compensation just everyone's ideas making our favorite place better!:thumbsup2

i would def. buy that too. there was a post awile ago about the lamp post mickey heads,i would buy that too. lets face it, i'm a disney junkie and woulod buy alot of things.:lovestruc to the poster above who wants the jimminy cricket box, if you know someone who does woodworking they could make it for you, but i really like the jim shore one. i think they should sell the bedding and such that are at the resorts..i would love to have the comforter from the boardwalk. i saw them once on an auction but not in a king size. as for other ideas i think a 1 location fast pass machine at each park would be a good idea. i think AK has one but just for certain attractions, they need to have all the fast pass rides at that 1 place.(i like the idea of this thread):thumbsup2

How is the AK central fast pass thing working out? I was so excited they were trying that! Great idea!

After our last stay we were sent a pamphlet where you could order the bedding. I didn't look at it too close but I think you can! Have you googled it?

When I was there for my honeymoon in October, they had stopped (at least at that time) doing the centralized FP distribution. We had to go to each attraction in order to get a FP - it wasn't a big deal for us though.

Years ago when people would write to Disney with suggestions for products or attractions they would receive a lawyer letter stating that Disney does not accept unsolicited ideas. It went on to say--in legalese-- if anything like your idea ever comes out of Disney it's not because of your suggestion.
Obviously they felt they couldn't risk turning unsolicited ideas into money makers and face the possible exposure of people suing them saying "hey!
That was MY idea!).

Dunno if they still handle things this way. But I don't think they'll be installing a suggestion hot-line anytime soon.

BTW, I love Jiminy Cricket and think the little JC in a matchbox idea is terrific:earsboy:

Yep, I figured legally they couldn't take suggestions but wouldn't it be nice? Thanks for liking my idea! :goodvibes

when i had mentioned to the cast member, that Tinker Bell meet-n-greet idea, she told me the same thing. that they don't take unsolicited ideas from anyone who isn't employed by Disney.
