YIPPEE!

I am a tad bummed that they are offering free dining when we are there this trip mainly because I am afraid the parks will be very crowded and last yr when we went in Nov it was perfect!

I do also wish we got a discount on the dinning plan even if it was 10%. We love the dining plan everything is paid for upfront and we don't have to worry about anything.....

I love threads like this. They are so much fun to read. It reminds me how much I enjoy going in January. WE have never made an ADR in our 10+years of annual trips. When we finally do A&V, that may be the first and only time. We have never be turned away from a restaurant either. Sure, maybe we had to sit in a bar for an hour and have drinks. Can you believe we have to have cocktails for a whole hour? Who's idea of vacation is that? Oh wait, it's mine. To each his own I guess. Some love planning others love spontaneity. C'est la vie!

It all depends on when you go and where you eat, how long you are willing to wait, what time you go to the resturant and if free dining is offered during that time. Many of us would love to be more spontaneous but necessity prevents that.

I completely agree. September was always the time DW and I traveled to WDW. We got burned a couple of times with crappy weather from huricanes. So we looked to January and never went back in September. We loved September 10 years ago cause it was so slow. Who could have guessed back then that would become the hot time to go with free dining.
