Today is our last day at Saratoga Springs before we move onto Beach Club Villas for our final three days. The plan is to finish off the Magic Kingdom rides that we left out yesterday when it got too hot and too busy. We park (DVC members) at the Polynesian as we hate getting the tram and the monorail.
First we do Splash Mountain and reassure Megan that we wont get wet as this ride is tame. Unfortunately we get soaked by the boat coming down the drop before we even get started. I just love all the singing animals on this ride. The shop at the exit is great and all the children buy a cuddley Brer Rabbit each and I buy a pair of Mickey earrings. (I regretted not buying a different pair as well and then spent the rest of the vacation looking in all the shops and did not see them again until the Disney shop at Orlando Airport and I have not taken them off since!)
We carry on and do Haunted Mainsion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Enchanted Tikki Birds before it gets too hot and too busy again.
When we get to the Polynesian Mark, Kirsty, Maurice and Jack hire the little speed boats.
Me and Lisa relax by the beach with some cocktails while Megan plays on the sand. We have the excellent Pinacolavas. It is with great difficulty I take this photo
We have a great time here and Lisa decides that she would like for us all to come back to the Polynesian for her 40th birthday in 2010
We go back Saratoga Springs for our last afternoon in the pool.
I have booked an ADR at Raglan Road for 9.00 p.m. but want to go earlier to catch the end of the DIS meet.
As it is our last night we will be able to walk to Downtown Disney everyone wants to make the most of the shops and espeically the pin shop.
I am anxious not to miss everyone at Raglan Road so take Kirsty and Megan with me while everyone is shopping.
We get to Raglan Road's entrance and I ask the front desk if there is a party of 22 from the UK seated in the restaurant. The lady is very excited that I know them too and gets someone to show us to the "snug"
It is great to meet everyone albeit briefly and manage to get a photo with Wilmabride
We wait for the rest of our party in the shop area and try some of the goods on
Everyone gets back from the shops and we go to the bar. Claire (Fizz13) comes over to say Hi to Mark as she met him the last time we met in a pub in Stevenage when I "forget" to tell Mark I was meeting a DIS friend!
We are seated in a booth and it is a very tight fit. Once again this holiday we have a server who keeps disappearing. We find the food not to be too Irish, ok, but is very pricey. The DIS meet leaves and says goodbye to us which is really very nice.

We got back to the villa and finish off the bottle of Jamiesons with our Irish Coffees which are better than Raglan Road's! Sad to be leaving Saratoga Springs but excited to be going to Beach Club Villas
