Just trying to start my Xmas shopping and had a few questions about video games. It appears that there are quite a few Mario games. Are these all very similar or are they different enough to purchase different games. I see there is a new Mario Bros. coming out for the WII, but I already purchased the Bowser's inside story, would it be foolish to purchase both for the same child?

Thanks for the help.

I was told by my 15 year old that my 6 year old wouldn't understand Bowser's inside story. (so I didn't buy it - you know toysrus is having the buy 2 get a third free right now)

mario Party games are different from Other Mario games. There are so many that some are similar but I believe Bowser's isn't like any other so I don't think it's overkill.

My kids LOVE mariokart.

I am a little confused. :confused3It appears you are asking for games for the Wii but bought a game for the DS.

If you are buying for the DS, yes each child needs their own game. If you are buying for the Wii you share the game because it is on the Wii console.

I don't know how old your kids are but Bower's Inside Story is an RPG and probably best suited for older kids, unless they are into RPG's.

The games are for the same child, but for different consoles. But since they are both Mario, I thought there would be too many similarities to make purchasing both games necessary. Too much of the same thing.......

What is an RPG? Bowser's got really good reviews, that is why I purchased it, maybe I shouldn't have.........

RPG is a role playing game. I bought Bowser for my 6 year old. DS and Wii games are often different, for example, Mario Kart has different races on the DS. We have quite a few Mario games, and my boys said they are not the same at all.

Oh, OK.

RPG's stand for Role Playing Games and usually require alot of reading.

To answer your Mario question, each game is different. :thumbsup2
