Anyone else doing it?

I'm hesitant to sign up for it. DD and DBF have decent mpm times. Mine are still in the "barely faster than Grandma Moses" range. Would I just embarrass myself by doing the MC10K? It falls 1 week before a scheduled training run of 6 imles so the timing would be almost perfect.

I do not see a minimum time requirment anywhere on the site so I'm either assuming there is none or they don't need one because everyone participating is a good runner.

Ha, I just found my answer...sort of. Last year average finish was 1:08 and the max time was 4:52. I am pretty sure I can beat 4:52. lol

So, who else is planning on doing it?

I am! I can tell you I did it at a 12:30 average (according to my Garmin) and I was just about in the middle of the pack. :thumbsup2 It was a really fun race! Didn't hurt that most of the course was lined with Marines yelling orders at us.

Young, handsome Marines... :cloud9:

I will be there! Will probably be ranging in the 13-14 mpm range.

I will plan on doing it. I just don't want to embarrass myself, KWIM? lol

After we're done we can just ride the metro back home, shower and go get a massage. :thumbsup2
