Marina Dessert Party

Sine it is outside of the park, would you be able to have a wedding cake from an outside bakery at the Marina for the Wishes Dessert Party? Or does it all have to be Disney?

According to everything I've seen, all food, floral, and decor must be through Disney at ANY outdoor location. I'm not sure how strict they are about those kinds of things, though. I've been trying really hard to find more info on the marina and restrictions like these but haven't had much luck. Hopefully that will change because I love this venue! (in pictures at least)

They are strict about the food at all locations (indoor, outdoor, park and non park)..it's a food safety/sanitation issue.

I can understand that. I am trying to come up with rough estimates for prices and pros and cons of Illuminations and the Marina, so I was just wondering how much I would have to budget for a cake.

It depends how big you want it - you could maybe just get a small decorative cake which might only cost $60, then get sheet cake in the same flavour to serve to your guests, I cant' remember the prices off the top of my head but Carrie's book has them all explained
