Mornin'~
Yesterday was REALLY rough. Got into it w/ one of the Finance mgrs. He insinuated that I wasn't doing my job in a timely manner....I asked him if he wanted to do my job, showed him proof that he didn't know his @$$ from a hole in the ground, "explained" to him that we didn't get our money from the lienholders the way HE said we did, showed him proof of that also. Then the SOB said I had a really bad attitude!!!

I looked at him and said "Yes, I realize this, and it's from dealing with @$$holes like you every day!" We got REALLY loud, and there was no way in haiti that I was backing down. He finally realized that he was wrong, and apologized. I told him, calmly this time, that if he EVER has a problem, ASK, DON'T ASSUME. Later that day he asked if I was still mad at him~I said, "are you done being an idiot for the day?"

(the girls in the office were amazed that I said what I did...one girl said she was really proud of me for not backing down, another one said she would have started crying

- there was no way I would cry...punch the crap out of him yes, cry...no chance!!)
THEN~I had another round of Roller Hockey to shoot last night after work. Boss & his wife had to fly out of town, and I was supposed to have 2 assistants~a new girl that worked for us 6 years ago, and the girl that worked in the office part time, and was wanting to become a full time photographer. Anyway, this is a pretty big shoot, and it takes 3 people to run. Well, the part-time office chick no-showed on me.

What usually takes 30-40 minutes to set up, took an hr and 10. The new girl Amy did a great job helping, it was just really hard trying to explain stuff from the top of a 10 ft ladder trying to hang a muslin! Then, about an hr and a half into the shoot, as I'm shooting a player, I notice the corner of my backdrop start to fall. Before I can grab the ladder and get to it, the whole thing comes down!!

I grab the ladder, Amy gets the tape, and a couple of parents come over and start helping! We get it back up, I close the ladder~ON MY FINGER~ (hurt like a bugger...it's still purple this morning!)~ looked at the next player in line and said "Are you ready yet??!!! Everyone started laughing~Anyway, I was supposed to have my last team at 7:30 - they showed up at 8:30, got home, unloaded the equipment, showered and crawled into bed at 10:30. I'm counting another 60 for yesterday, although it was more like 180! My back and legs are killing me this morning....the leaning on the ladder and stretching and balancing really did a number on me last night.
Oh...my food intake sucked too.
b-banana
l-3 bites of Chef-BoyArdee ravioli (that stuff is total crap~)
d-3 fried mozzerella cheese sticks and a 12 oz coke. (at the photo shoot)
s-2 mini cupcake bites
water-approx 40 oz...gonna double that today!
I'll check in later tonight...if I'm still moving!
And yes, I'll try to play nice with the other kids today!
