Maries' last day of meet and greets in MK is

Awe man!!! We love Marie!! I love the movie... sadness...

I may be in the minority but I am not a big Stitch fan but my niece loves him. But she loves Marie too.

The times I have been there has always been a fairly long line for her. No reason why they couldn't leave her there and have Stitch in Tomorrowland...

Or move her back to the France Pavilion in Epcot

Yep to all of the above! Marie is a classic, while I'm happy to hear about Stitch I'm astounded that they would "retire" Marie. I would have been ok with Marie going back to her spot in France which I loved seeing while in Epcot. Any word if she will be going back there? Very sad to see another classic go!

Actually Marie's been at Town Square since 2012 but she's been at Walt Disney World since mid 2007 at Epcot. But yeah so far no news on when she will return to WDW. But I hope they put her back in Epcot if she ever returns in the future. At least she's steel meetable in Disneyland Paris,Tokyo Disneyland, and Hong Kong

I'm bummed to hear this. Marie was always one of my favorites. My baby niece loves her too and even has Marie pajamas. What little girl wouldn't love a white kitten wearing a pink bow?

Glad my daughter was able to get pictures with Marie though this goes back to when she was at EPCOT. But still hate to see her go.

I just checked Kenny The Pirate's blog and there was one WDW visitor who chatted with a CM at the France Pavilion that mentioned that she might return to the France Pavilion after gets replaced by Aurora at MK since Anna & Elsa are now at Norway. So there's some hope.

Do kids today really know who Marie is or do they just think she's a giant white cat? Marie's too '70s and old school Disney. I think Stitch is more relevant.

I actually wonder about the opposite. Do kids care about Stitch today? DD4 loves the classics and loves Marie. The only movies from the 2000's that she cares about are Tangled and Frozen. Otherwise she watches movies from Snow White through Mulan.

My 5 year old daughter loves her, and every trip, she uses her gift card for something Marie. I wish we would have had a chance to meet her and have a photo op.
