We will be going to Universal at the end of FEB and this time we will eat at Margaritaville, after saying we will every time, THIS is the time, haha....I know it is good per reviews I have read in the past but what can you recommend for a mom 39 and 3 teens, 15, 16 and 17.Are the hamburgers good? What about the jerk bbq sandwich I read about? thanks in advance!

I had a Cheeseburger in Paradise and it was good. DD had the bbq and liked it a lot. We also had the nachos as an appetizer. It was HUGE and very, very good.

the Clipper wings are our favorite wings down here. the jerk wings, chicken, and bbq sandwich are all great. crab cakes are good as well. JB's makes a point to provide very good food. the burgers, very good. of course. :) margaritaville is about the most consistent restaurant we find in florida. it's really that good.

I have had the cheeseburgers, and my fiance has gotten the cuban meatloaf, both were great!

The cheeseburgers are definitely the BEST!!! We discovered them in Key West, and always make sure we schedule in a meal or 2 there. I'm so excited to go to Margaritaville at CItyWalk!

The nacho's are great! I like the cuban meatloaf sandwich!

cheeseburgers with a cold Corona. i also like the conch fritters for an appetizer! Phins Up!

I have to agree the Cheese Burger In Paradise and a cold Corona is a hard combo to beat.We thought the food was great and the theming was teriffic. If you have any Parrot Head blood in your veins at all be sure to visit the gift shop. A couple of weeks ago Jimmy Buffett was here in Asheville to open his new Cheese Burger In Paradise restaurant what a treat now I can get a shot of Buffet any time I need it.

I am excited to see that the food is good! We are going there in 3 days! I plan on getting the cheeseburger ! Plus a very big margarita! :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Wondering if Margaritaville's is as fun during the daytime for lunch? Don't know if we'll be able to fit it in for dinner. Is there entertainment at night only?

Cheeseburger, Cuban Sandwich Nachos where huge the wings very hot very good and chicken ceaser salad

DH had excellent crab cakes and I had a really good pulled pork sandwich. Loved the atmosphere too.

I had the blackened fish sandwich the last time I was there and it was delicious. I was tempted to eat there a second night to get another sandwich! The cheeseburgers are also good.

Do you need to make reservations ahead if you want to go for dinner in the middle of the week? Do they have something similar to Priority Seating for non resort guests?

Thank you for the info!

We checked into the Royal Pacific last Monday and decided to eat at Margaritaville since it was the first restaurant we came to in City Walk. We ordered two of the "Last Mango in Paris" drinks while waiting for our table. (I noticed people "camp out" here and never want to leave, so you're more likely to have to wait for a table in you come without reservations.) The drinks were good- sort of like a "mangorita".

I ordered a bowl of corn and crab chowder, which was OK, but the "bowl" of soup was MAYBE an inch deep and about four inches across- probably about ten small bites at most. My real disappointment was the fried calamari, which was hands down the worst calamari I'd ever eaten. It tasted like strips of deep fried *sponge* and the sauces were the only thing that made it edible. Seriously, it was that bad.

DH had the bacon cheeseburger in paradise and thought it was OK. Our second round of Mangoritas were not as good as the first, either.

The one great thing about the whole experience was a few nights later when we ate at Pastamore and the manager came over to ask how the meal was. My chicken marsala was delicious, but I told him I would have ordered the calamari if I hadn't had a bad batch from Margaritaville. Well, he runs straight to the kitchen and in five minutes I'm offered a sample of some wonderful calamari!!! They serve it with a light cream sauce, a marinara sauce, and a balsamic drizzle- outstanding!

If you're craving calamari go to Pastamore!

Pastamore is a great place last time we were there we had purchased some kind of dining plan from Universal. When we told the waitress she wasn t sure what I was talking about and got the manager. She came right to our table and took a look at the voucher I had and said "wish they would let us know when they do this" the voucher said food was to be ordered from a special menu and as far as she knew they didn t have one. She then said well since she didn t know what the whole thing was about just be her guest and order anything we wanted. After the meal she returned to our table with a desert sampler tray and told us to enjoy the desert it was on her since she was so confused.Needless to say we had a huge mealand a great experience I was so happy I gave the waitress a 30.00 tip and told her to make sure she bought her manager a cup of coffee at least. lol
