We are looking to book 2 weeks in March and were wondering if the mardi gras will still be on. We know it is Feb/March time but do not know how many weeks it goes on for.

Mardi Gras usually runs for the entire month of February and into mid April. The concerts and parade are on Saturday nights and are lots of fun. The crowds can be huge depending on who the performer is that night.
