Mardi Gras Planning

This is the first time we will be there for Mardi Gras. I'm understanding the parade starts at close of the parks. If we are at IOA at close, will we be able to get back to US via train or front of the park, or should we plan to be over there ahead of time? We would love to see either Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley at close, and maybe catch part of the parade on the way out. I don't really have a plan for the day, but want to know what to expect. We don't mind missing part of the parade. Really there for Harry Potter only, just thought the parade looks like fun as well.

The parade is only in the Studios so you would need to be in the park before close. The route doesn't take it anywhere near HP...only the central part of the park. The parade is a lot of fun but those beads can hurt...so be careful.
