We will be arriving in Orlando Saturday evening around 5pm. I'm thinking of heading over to Universal right after we check-in to our hotel to catch the parade. We probably won't get there until around 7pm. Is it worth our time just to go for the parade (we have the 2 park/7 day tickets)? By the time we get there the rides will be closing but I thought it might be fun to see the parade and possibly stay for the concert (LL Cool J). I'm traveling with preteens. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Since the parks close at 8pm that night, I would wait and start fresh on Sunday...why waste a day?

BTW...LL Cool J is playing on 4/12...Huey Lewis & The News is next week.

Sorry for not being more clear on that ... we are arriving on Saturday 4/12. We have the the 7 day/2 park pass so that will give us unlimited admission to both parks until 4/18 (the day we are leaving). So actually we won't be wasting any $$ by doing this. I was just wondering if it is worth the time (after traveling all day) just to come for the parade and concert since I know the rides will be closed.

Thanks.

In that case I would say go for it...if you aren't too tired after all that travelling. :thumbsup2
