There's usually a spot where you can watch the parade and have it pass you twice... I was wondering where that spot is this year? Or where the best spot to watch it from is?

Because of the construction, the route isn't as long as in years past. You can watch it at the beginning of the route near Mel's and then run over to Beetlejuice and watch it at the end of the route. Also...crowds have been deeper because there isn't as much room to watch because of the shortened route. You'll need to find a spot and hold it for at least 45 minutes prior. You can't just walk up at the last minute and find a good spot.

My friends and I usually watch from the beginning and then some of us walk/run to the end of the route and we usually make it a few minutes before the beginning of the parade gets there.

You can watch it at the beginning near the AP holders area and then run up between the water and Transformers walls and either veer left to the Blues Brothers stage or veer right to the Beetlejuice area. I went left and the crowd was about 10 deep.
